Resolution adopted by the Knox County Democratic Party Board of Governors to Oppose the Application by Knox County Sheriff Jimmy “J.J.” Jones for the 287(g) Program

KNOX COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY TO HOLD BIENNIAL REORGANIZATION CONVENTION 

It has been said that crisis leads to opportunity, and with the election of President Trump we are seeing an outpouring of interest from many people who want to get involved to work for progressive change.

Fourth District Democrats meet monthly at the Bearden Library, January through May, and August through October, with a June or July social hour meeting at another venue. Meeting dates and times are not always on the same day each month. 

Second District Democrats have set the schedule for their next four monthly meetings.  All will be in the Community Room of the Fountain City Branch Library, 5300 Stanton Road, on the third Saturday of each month.

PROGRESS IS IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT CHANGE
