Monthly Meetings

Below is a listing of district meetings and other Democratic clubs for the Knox County Democratic party.  Each district has a map linked to it where you can find out where your meeting is located.  Additionally, click HERE to look up your district.


Countywide Democratic Party Meeting (Board of Governors each month and County Assembly every 3rd month) meets on the Second Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at the KCDP headquarters, located at 311 Morgan Street. 


First District Democrats (Central City)-(Click HERE for map) - meets the First Monday of each month at the Burlington Library, located at 4614 Asheville Highway.  Contact Reverend Harold Middlebrook at HaroldMiddlebrook@gmail.com or Larry Hill at 865-522-1447 for more information.


Second District Democrats- (Click HERE for map) - 

Second District Democrats have set the schedule for their next four monthly meetings in 2017.  All will be in the Community Room of the Fountain City Branch Library, 5300 Stanton Road, on the third Saturday of each month.
 
The January meeting is on the 21st from 1 to 2 p.m. and will include a discussion of the movement and document Indivisible.  The February 18 and March 18 meetings also will be from 1 to 2 p.m.  The April 15th meeting is from 3 to 4 p.m.
 
The second county commission district may be thought of as the "near north" Knoxville neighborhoods.  It includes Fourth and Gill, Old North Knox, Oakwood-Lincoln Park, the Edgewood Park area, North Hills, Fairmont-Emoriland, and Alice Bell, as well as large parts of Inskip, Fountain City, and Shannondale.

Fourth District Democrats(Click HERE for map) - 

Fourth District Democrats meet monthly at the Bearden Library, January through May, and August through October, with a June or July social hour meeting at another venue. Meeting dates and times are not always on the same day each month. 

Contact Chris Foell (foellmc@aol.com, 691-8933) at the beginning of each month for meeting date/time for the month, and to be included on the 4th District email list, which will send out a formal meeting announcement about five days prior to each meeting.

Knox County Democratic Women's Club  (KCDWC)- meets on the second Tuesday of each month at Austin's Restaurant, located at 900 Merchants Drive, at 6:00 pm.
