Campaigns 101: Field and Training

The TNDP Political Department is excited to be hosting our sixth candidate and campaign training in Knoxville.  We're going to be covering Field Tactics and Volunteer Recruitment, Creating a Budget, and Fundraising and Call Time.  Check out the event on Facebook.

We're excited to have not just state leg candidates, but those folks who've stepped up to run for County-level and local offices. Please share the information and the RSVP link with anyone you know who is running for office, considering a run for office, or will be acting as campaign staff (or wants to be campaign staff) on any campaign.

Unable to attend?

No problem! In addition to hosting an in-person training, we've also partnered with the National Democratic Training Committee, a national organization dedicated to training Democrats to run for office -- with a heavy focus on local and county races. We've set up on online, self-service platform with them that has videos and worksheets to help you think through your campaign. You can access it here:

Simply register for an account and receive free access to all of the materials online. We'll additionally be hosting an in-person training with their staff later in the year. Registering with them now will ensure that you get that information.

Finally, you can also register for our webinar series. These webinars contain the same information as our in-person trainings but allow you to learn from the comfort of your own home.

Again, we're excited to have folks like you step up and take action to turn Tennessee blue! We're looking forward to meeting you at one of our stops on the training schedule or over a webinar.

Thank you!
